OUR STORY

Sixteen03 Main Events opened November 7th, 2013, in a nondescript building on Main Avenue in Bismarck, ND. The building was built in 1916 as a warehouse for Lahr Motor Sales, but most locals remember it as the delicious-smelling Sweetheart Bakery which closed its doors in 1993. The event center is anything but nondescript on the inside. While renovation of the entire 55,000 square foot facility is ongoing, the completed event spaces offer a hip, urban warehouse-type vibe that adds a unique ambience unlike any other in the Bismarck/Mandan area.

Overview of Services:

Sixteen03 offers an array of services for all social functions. We can accommodate up to 450 people at the facility for meetings, wedding ceremonies and receptions, dinners, seminars, fundraisers, live entertainment or anything reason you need to throw a party or get together! We have a full bar available for any event and our in-house chef Gregorio DiDonna will work with you to create the perfect custom menu for you, your guests, and your budget. Already have a venue? Our staff can bring the party to you! We offer an array of off-site catering and bartending services.

 

About the venue/building:

Our event spaces are comprised of two rooms. After passing through the Foyer you will enter our Bridge Room. The Bridge Room is our main event space, houses our kitchen and bar, and can accommodate up to 250 guests for a seated dinner and up to 450 people for a seated wedding ceremony or seminar space. Adjacent to the Bridge Room is our Green Room which can be added to your event for an additional charge. This room will seat up to 450 people for dinner. Our facility has large restrooms to accommodate your guests and a private conference room is included for your use as the event organizer with all events booked.

About the staff:

Sixteen03 Main Events is owned by actor Josh Duhamel, his sister Ashlee Deschamp, and friend Brock Teets (all originally from Minot, ND).
